The original print is a far cry from this depiction.
Here's the part where I laud the Wacom Intuos tablet.
My parents bought one for me as a very very early birthday/Christmas present (my birthday's in December). It's SO much easier to create fluid, pressure-sensitive lines with than a mouse (but you already know that). It's a sigh of relief in a box. Mine is a 6x8 which, like most are saying, is the better deal because you really don't need to pay more for the extra pen-space.
I'm also thrilled about being able to do my loose doctor's signature digitally now, so I can sign my work without having to go through the rigmaroll of scanning a hand-drawn one. It's the little things that count.
This piece is a concept for a new version of Interrogation's old and remarkably terrible debut album cover (Queen Of Thorns, 2004). There's a new remastered version coming out this- or next year and they wanted new artwork. At first I didn't see the point, but I can't complain about an excuse to draw.
Original dimensions: 5" x 4.875" @ 600dpi
Software: Photoshop 7 w/Wacom tablet
Completion: June 11, 2006 @ 2:34PM

And all is one.
"You talk when you cease to be at peace with your thoughts... and in much of your talking, thinking is half-murdered."
Stunning.

"And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?"
W.Y.
Thumbs up, and good luck on the upcomings.
