The original print is a far cry from this depiction.

Here's the part where I laud the Wacom Intuos tablet.
My parents bought one for me as a very very early birthday/Christmas present (my birthday's in December). It's SO much easier to create fluid, pressure-sensitive lines with than a mouse (but you already know that). It's a sigh of relief in a box. Mine is a 6x8 which, like most are saying, is the better deal because you really don't need to pay more for the extra pen-space.

I'm also thrilled about being able to do my loose doctor's signature digitally now, so I can sign my work without having to go through the rigmaroll of scanning a hand-drawn one. It's the little things that count.

This piece is a concept for a new version of Interrogation's old and remarkably terrible debut album cover (Queen Of Thorns, 2004). There's a new remastered version coming out this- or next year and they wanted new artwork. At first I didn't see the point, but I can't complain about an excuse to draw.

Original dimensions: 5" x 4.875" @ 600dpi
Software: Photoshop 7 w/Wacom tablet
Completion: June 11, 2006 @ 2:34PM

No comments so far??? I like this! Very imaginative and the idea with the thorns and the queen coming out (or living in) the piano is cool! Bravo!

You are very welcome! I really like such imaginative pieces and it always saddens me if they don't get any feedback!

It happens. dA is a great place to get inspiration even if it's not from direct feedback

I haven't been around much lately, but hopefully that will change and I'll get a chance to meet more people here :) Thank you.

It's lovely. Nice to see some works from you again, and you're starting to have quite your style digitally now too.

Thumbs up, and good luck on the upcomings.
