The original print is a far cry from this depiction.
Here's the part where I laud the Wacom Intuos tablet. My parents bought one for me as a very very early birthday/Christmas present (my birthday's in December). It's SO much easier to create fluid, pressure-sensitive lines with than a mouse (but you already know that). It's a sigh of relief in a box. Mine is a 6x8 which, like most are saying, is the better deal because you really don't need to pay more for the extra pen-space. I'm also thrilled about being able to do my loose doctor's signature digitally now, so I can sign my work without having to go through the rigmaroll of scanning a hand-drawn one. It's the little things that count. This piece is a concept for a new version of Interrogation's old and remarkably terrible debut album cover (Queen Of Thorns, 2004). There's a new remastered version coming out this- or next year and they wanted new artwork. At first I didn't see the point, but I can't complain about an excuse to draw. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
